Movie night at the Market!!
Come and join us on the first Tuesday, of the month for "Free" movie night!  The dates are: June 7, July 5, August 2, September 6, and October 4th.  And yes, there will be organic popcorn too!!


Cutest Pet Contest!  June 28th
This is a mall sponsored event, held at our market.  Registration is at 5:00 pm, with the contest starting at 5:30 pm.  Get your leashes ready and bring your "best friend" for an evening of fun and excitement!


Patriotic Patron Night! July 12th
Come celebrate our nation's independence with flair! Apple pie baking contest, Most Patriotic Patron contest, hot dog eating contest, and live Bluegrass music by Nicholas Bogosian! Pre-enter by clicking on the contest name above to download entry form! (No entry form needed for Patriotic Patron Dress-Up contest. Just don your craziest red, white, and blue and come join the fun!)

Cupcake Extravaganza! August 9th
Hosted by Diane Conroy, of At the Cookie Jar - get in the game with these tasty treats! Guess the mystery cupcake ingredient and sample some of Diane's scrumptious cupcakes!

The OVFM will open the season with a sneak preview by participating in Bellaire's All-American Days Festival  on Saturday, June 4th starting at 11:00 in the City Park following the parade. Watch here for more details!

Know Your Farmer.  Know Your Food! June 25th
The OVFM promotes buying and eating locally. Join us for cooking demonstrations with Chef Gene, live music, an Old Fashioned Cake Walk and many other activities.


The BIG GREEN Event! August 6th
The OVFM is going green! Well, we've been green. All the way from organic fruits and veggies, to promoting local eating, to re-usable tote bags. Come celebrate the way many of us live every day! Special guests and activities include: JB Green Team with Bel and Jeff, Butterflies from Heather with walk-in butterfly tent*; Chef Gene with a cooking demo and displays on the WVNCC culinary garden and rain barrels; Diane Conroy, of At the Cooky Jar will demo canning strawberry jam, everyone taking part will get a free sample jar of jam!  E-a-poo's with cloth diapers and more;  Market Basket Give-Aways at 10:00, 11:00 and noon); chances to win market gift certificates-bring us your favorite going green tip and if we use it you'll receive a $5 market gift certificate; there will be lot's of fun, green kid's craft and more...*Activities are free and are sponsored by Belmont Savings Bank.


Trick or Treat at the Market October 29th
Join us at the final Saturday market of the season on October 29th, as we offer the kids a chance to Trick or Treat with us. You may even find the vendors in costume!
